I think the biggest issue right now political or not is the illegals that are here im not meaning to be racist. But other than oil which that is the real reason we are in iraq in my oppinion. i do think that is the biggest problem because america is losing a lot of money to illegals and to the war. It has caused a large issue for a long time and its still not over and it wont be for along time. unless we get a president with the guts to actually do something about it. But ultimatly the tax payers will suffer either way. If they build a fence then it will cost the tax payers about another $.50 to the dollar. Anything the government tries to do will end up costing everyone thousands of dollars in tax money that no one will ever see again.
I think that the biggest issue in my time will be the enviroment ! Theres alot of stuff happening everywhere to the world that needs to fixed ! if the government wasnt spending all our money on the war and weapons we dont even use our enviroment could be changed in alot of ways ! animals are dying that shouldnt be and parts of the world is being flushed out by water ! if we focused more on that i think that everything else would fall in place ! and illegals have nothing to do with it ! some of them pay taxes just like everybodys parents do !
I think the economy is goin to be the most talked about issue in these upcomming elections. Last year I lived in California and i noticed alot of people are lossing there house. But what i found out the prices mof there house was going up because of the economy crises. Also gas prices are so high, it does not help the people that are lossing there houses its just another high bill they have to pay. At this rate if teh economy dose not get better many more people are gann lose there house.
I think it will be the economy because right now our unemployment rate is 6.1%. Our economy is on a downward right now. I beleive were goin to be goin through a depression soon. And no one will mention recession i beleive were also goin to be goin through that aswell. Inflation is gradually occuring right now things cost to much taxes are high gas is crazy and houses are hard to sell as well as the bills are hard to pay.
I think that the biggest issue if my time would be the economy! Because all of the money our country is spending on the war in Iraq could be used to build things that we need in the community! Like new and better raods not like the crappy ones we have right now! Rebuilding buildings that should be rebuilt. The war in Iraq is costing everyone thousands of dollars just to pay back for the money that none of us even spent!
I think that energy, economy, and the environment will be key issues as we progress through our lives. If something is not done soon about energy, and right now it looks as if that solution will be left up to us, the younger generation, we will be in dire trouble. I also think that economy and energy are linked together irrevocably. If energy gooes down the toilet, so will the ecomomy.
At the rate our envirornment is deterriorating, something drastic will need to be done, and soon. The ice caps are melting, the rainforest are disappearing at an alarmingly fast rate, and species are disappearing, one by one, not to be seen again. It needs to be delt with, and will, hopefully, get the attention, politically, that this issue deserves, soon.
In my opinion, every one of those options will all play a part. Right now we're basically importing everything, which gives our money to other countries, and we're not keeping any money in our country. We're making all of these other countries' lives better, but in return our economy is suffering. Illegal aliens add to that struggle as well.
The environment isn't doing so well either. Our ozone layer is deteriorating from all of the pollution in the air from careless people, manufacturers, and vehicular exhaust that is mixed into the air. We're using up our fuel supply faster than Earth can produce more, which raises prices of gasoline and to any merchandise that is transported to other parts of the country. And to add to it, the inflation depreciates our dollar.
Many species are suffering from environmental issues such as global warming including plant life, animals, and even us humans.
All in all, it seems like anything that can go wrong, is going wrong and it's going to be left up to this generation and the generations to come to find ways to turn these problems around.
I believe that the enconomy is going to be the most important political issue of my generation. As prices continue to rise, more people are having to move out of their current home and into a small one. With gas prices sky rocketing and pay raises not being handed out, more people are falling from the middle class and quickly into poverty. Most of our goods are imported as well, and the money citizens make in America is being given to other countries. American is also having to pay the expenses of the war, and it's causing a major loss of money, and America is already very far in debt.
I believe that the economy will be the most important political issues of our generation. We just have to much stuff going on and it keeps building up. For example, gas prices are high and keep jumping around. My mom keeps telling me how gas goes up about 20 cents, then after a week it will go down about 10 cents. With prices rising, life will become harder to just slide by. The cost of living just keeps going up and up. Our generation will need to have a higher education so that we can get jobs that pay well.
The economy will highly disscussed during the political election as well as the state of education. Both of which affect us directly. Us meaning the younger generation. We are in a place right now where college is so expensive and so little american families can afford to send there children so many people just don't go. Not being able to afford to pay for college is a big reason why students don't further there careers. Education is also in a crisis as far as students even graduating. The drop - out rates drop every year. Grades are slumping which is scary considering that we are our future's doctors, teachers and lawyers. Economy ties with the whole education thing. Our economy is in a place right now that in a few years could po ssibly rival the depression of the 1930's. Foreclosers are eveywhere. Bankruptcy seems almost as normal as opening up a bank account for the every day person and for big companies as well. With president Bush leaving the white house there will be big shoes to fill. Hopefully the candidate is elected can step up to the plate and make a difference.
The biggist problem will be if obama is elected how kids is having kids. Because he is for abortations and he doesn't want people having children. So that will be hard since half the population in school is girls and boys having sex with or without protection and half those girls having babies. So yea that will be the biggest problem in our genoration.
I think the economy will be the biggest political issue of our generation. The government spends loads of money on the war and not on stuff that our enviroment needs. Another issue i worry about is global warming. Even though I haven't heard anything on it lately, I'm still scared it will hurt our enviroment even more than it has already. Americans haven't tried to help protect our enviroment and I think they should. Honestly I think if Obama becomes our first African American president, there will be some racial issues. Considering I've already heard tons of racial comments about him becoming our president. I think Obama will be a wonderful presdient.
I think that the energy crisis is going to be the most important. This is because by the time by the time we start driving gas is going to be a lot higher and electric bills are going to be more money.
i think that the biggest and most discussed issue has to be the gas prices. it's already bad that the ecnomy is plummeting but even worse that the prices of gas have increased. not only did it incresed but it increased significantly. i mean honestly i remember when i was little and the gas prices were like 98 cents. so overall i belive that is going to be the most discussed.
Im kind of tied between two things that are important. I would say the enviroment and the war. The enviroment because our world is becoming a trash dump with the global warming and the oil problems. Then the war because it takes alot of our money + it is just really bad for our country. Im not really sure what is the biggest problem those are just some of the things i think.
I belive that the econimy will be the biggest issue. I think that because before i moved from california the gas prices were high. My cousin came this summer and he said that the gas prices were even higher than here and when i left. I think that sooner or later gas is going to be so high people are going to walk or ride something with wheels. Also people might find a different way to get around in a moter vehicle.
i think it will be da race cause if obama gets to be presodent he might put all da white people in jail but who knows.
I think that one of the biggest issues that we are facing is our educational system. How is it that we have enough money for war, but we don't have much money for our schools? The future of America depends on the education kids get today, and if they can't get an accurate education that they can grow off of, then what's the point? The United States needs to focus more on what kids are and aren't learning today, and has to encourage them to stay in school and challenge them at the same time. I know too many people who dropped out of school and are under the age of 16. Some are basically just waiting to drop out and get their GED when they can just stay in school and get their high school diploma. Sure it's going to be hard but we all have to face challenges sooner or later.
I think that the enviroment is a big issue and that people arent really realizing what is actually happening. A new president could really help people take action and help do things to better the enviroment.
Honestly, I think that the biggest issues teens face in today's world are racism/sexism and the economy. Our finances getting harder and harder to up on. Alot of people these days have trouble with being able to have enough money for gas, or for bills, or just personal needs. If our government would actually stop and listen to what OUR country is trying to say to them, like "bring soldiers home", then maybe we wouldn't have so many problems to face. Our economy would be better, and our american citizens would feel more secure. Because of them, many people are suffering finacially and socially. I just think they need to get their heads out of the clouds and look at what they've done to the country.
To me I believe that the major political issues are sexism, racism, and students education. With the sexism...Many things during these days are divided by sex. A simple thing like football...its not that girls shouldnt or cant play but it is almost expected that they dont play. With racism...I see people on a day to day basis that get in fights or debates about racism remarks, comments, or discusions that escalate into matters beyond control. With the education...many kids our age do not have any plan after highschool. Many only come to school because it is required by law. The graduation rates are rapidly decreasing.
The most important issue is the economy followed by the gender/race gap.Almost everything is like really going off road like every thing is going up.In some case like the issue of gender race is going towards Hispanic culture in which they are accusing of stealing jobs taking welfare and all this things from Americans!!! In which what i notice is hispanic are working the more harder jobs that Americans would like not even work for.Am not going against Americans but hispanics are not like killing them with jobs that are really diffcult to do. In my oppion Americans are like trying to do the same thing to hispanic people as they did to Afican Americans but in a soo much different way and i guess hispanics are not damaging no one in which it lead to a death.
I think the biggest issue is economy. I think economy is a big issue because gas prices are really high right now and everything is expensive. People are also losing their houses in some places cause the cost is to high and hard to pay off.
Another issue is the gender and race, they are trying to pass more immigration laws to make it to where hispanics culture and other illegals immagrants cant live here or find jobs or anything. They are accusing us of stealing their jobs, when we are working twice as hard as they do to make money and we make less then them. We do other jobs that americans would never do, and especially for the amount of money they pay and all the hard work. If hispanics or other immigrants that work at meat plants, fast food places and hotels were to be deported than who would work in those places? with minimum wage and many hours of work? cause we know not many americans would...
In my opinion, racism and sexism are going to be issues in society. If Clinton or McCain win, there will be a large population of people that will believe that the majority of Americans are racist because Obama did not win. This is already an issue because an older white man has always been the leader of this country we live in. If Obama or McCain win instead of Clinton, sexism will be a big issue. This is because never before has a woman ran for president and if she loses, it will be because America is a sexist country, not because she was not the best candidate. However, if McCain wins America will be both sexist and racist. We'll only be sticking to tradition, not trying something new.
i think that the biggest issue right now is envirement. I think that there is alot going on around us like the war, and global warming. I think that some of the things that are wrong could be fixed if we used some of our money towards it rather then spending so much on the war. Some houses and areas are so messed up that they are barely able to be lived in. i think that we should spend more money on the stuff around us rather then the war that could be stopped with an agreement.
in my opinion the largest issue facing out generation is the environment. The reason i think that is because the earth is only going to be livable for so long and we should take care to make sure that it will last as long as it can. Destroying the rainforest and polluting our air is one of the worst things we can do.
